Hi there.
So here’s my comment:
Check out my video on YouTube, singing about travelling in India. The lyrics are in English and a little bit Hindi.
Peace.
I think we have to be proactive. We must focus on the content of education. See our recommendations for Pakistan:
http://thesouthasianidea.wordpress.com/2008/10/06/why-is-pakistan-half-illiterate/
We also need to oppose all terrorism, not just terrorism that emanates outside our own countries. Otherwise we have no credibility.
I agree, we need to set up a dedicated website for all South Asian People Against Terrorism (that would be SAPAT, like a sapat taan since you like classical music). We should just keep on adding names to this website till the list reaches from one side of the earth to the other.
Let’s be friends, one person at a time.
Thanks. I have put your comment on the sticky post on the front page.
Nice site you have.
Dear Ra,
I stumbled upon your blog today and must admit I am soooooooooo impressed. I liked your forthright frankness in the writeup – ‘A Bit of Pain’. Esp that bit on not touching pickles and the caravan of taboos. So familiar! I loved your ‘Creature of Habit’ because I share a similar predicament. And that one on ‘Chandi Path’ was beautiful. And I can’t just wait to get my copy of the book, never mind that Navarathri is now a year away!
I can only say – you have earned for yourself an ardent fan! Keep up the good job.
Love,
Priya
Sorry for ‘a byte of pain’ I may have caused you by getting the title wrong
. I was referring to your article – ‘A brief history of pain’.
